Teaching Methods

The teaching will be reflective and dialogic, in order to promote critical thinking of students and their intervention in a permanent interaction with the teacher and students. The evaluation will be continuous in accordance to the regulation of the 2nd cycle in FLUC.

Learning Outcomes

To recognizing the significance of the concept of heritage in the long term and identify the emergence of the consciousness of its necessary safeguards. To know the institutions linked to the heritage and analyze key legislation enacted by these. To articulate the culture of heritage conservation with art-historical evolution of theories of conservation and restoration. To promote a critical evaluation of the uses of cultural heritage in the modern world, through the analysis of its importance in the process of construction of identities, in the transmission of memory and the sustainable development of societies.
