Teaching Methods

The course unit is taught through theoretical-practical classes, encouraging dialogue with students. The aim is to reinforce the content covered in theoretical lessons and develop critical thinking in the analysis of best practices in Information Services Management.
Teaching Method:
- Expository lectures and practical classes supported by multimedia and bibliographic resources.
- Independent reading and review of reference texts.
- Individual and/or group practical exercises.

Learning Outcomes

This course unit aims to equip students with a fundamental understanding of management concepts and theories as applied to information services. Its objectives include: analyzing different types and models of information services and identifying their strategic role within organizations and society. The goal is to develop critical thinking about the theoretical foundations of information management, the ability to contextualize information services in diverse environments, and a holistic vision of their importance. The focus is placed on the capacity to innovate and lead transformation in information services, ensuring their relevance and sustainability in the face of digital and social challenges.
