Teaching Methods
Teaching will be done through theoretical lectures given by the professor, using audiovisual media, PowerPoints or the viewing of videos. In the practical component, we will analyze copyrighted texts, news and documents of the European Commission and Parliament on the matters in question, encouraging students to read, present and discuss analyses of texts in class.
Learning Outcomes
Students will understand the main policies of the European Union, its genesis and evolution, integrated into the dynamics of enlargement and deepening of the political community project. They will understand the operation of certain Community policies and their historical importance for European integration, as well as the correlation dimensions of European and national policies. They will also understand the evolution and methodology for approval of the EU budget and major structural funds, knowing how relate them to Community policies.
