Theoretical lectures, including two written tests (continuous evaluation) and research works based on

aspects of the lectured syllabus. Students who opt for final evaluation must take a final written exam.

Learning Outcomes

To ensure a global understanding of political science, as a science responsible for the study of the political phenomenon, allowing students to have access to an understanding of the main concepts that integrate the defining core of this social science and the links with close scientific fields.

- The object of Political Science;

- The political agents: citizens, interest groups and political parties;

- Elections and electoral systems (majority, proportional and composite);

- Forms of Government: parliamentarianism; presidential system and composite forms;

- Political Science and global governance - "state building".
