Teaching Methods

Presentation of different approaches to cinematographic creation (fiction, documentary, essay). Discussion of filmic examples and authors' work processes. Monitoring and guidance in the creation and development of each proposal, promoting a technical and logistical adaptation while seeking to stimulate an artistic practice allied with critical reflection and individual autonomy.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the semester, the student should be able to: (1) understand basic concepts and develop practices associated with cinematic creation, based on a theoretical-practical approach; (2) prepare and carry out a cinematographic project (individually or in group), promoting through practice the acquisition of technical and theoretical knowledge for the creation, planning, organization, and consummation of an artistic film project; (3) use image and sound materials and equipment, and editing, after acquiring basic skills for this usage.

1. Adequacy of the development of the proposal for the creation of each project depending on the type (fiction, documentary, essay)

2. Writing, development, production

3. Filming and camera (shots, framing, movements, sequence shot, location, lighting)

4. Sound in the filmic context (direct sound, studio, foley, sound)

6. Editing (editing techniques, editing tools, reflective editing).
