Teaching Methods

Within the interdisciplinary context that presides over this course, the theoretical exhibition carried out in class and the resulting text comment will always be illustrated with examples in the field of painting or music, or film. The participation of students will be systematically requested either through their participation in the classroom or with regard to the proposal for new materials.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the semester students should be able to recognize some of the literary and plastic movements that characterize Portuguese culture in close parallel with identical expressions in European contemporary literature and art.
