Teaching Methods
Lectures by the teacher or the students.
Analysis, discussion and presentation of theoretical texts and / or examples.
Research work and written essays (with eventual oral presentations).
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the semester, students are expected
(i) To have mastered general concepts about different literary movements. These will be relevant for the texts and the authors of the syllabus and their most important features.
(ii) To have understood the influence of historical and cultural contexts in the syllabus’s literary texts.
