(i) To have mastered general concepts about different  literary movements. These will  be relevant for the texts and the authors of the syllabus and their most important features.

(ii) To have understood the influence of historical and cultural contexts in the syllabus’s literary texts.

2. Humanism of christian inspiration in François Mauriac’s fiction.

3. French Existencialism and the II World War: Albert Camus’s narrative fiction.
