Teaching Methods
Methodologies: Lectures, workshops, usually based on students’ homework, other classwork, viewing & discussion of videos on varieties of English & on language change.
Learning Outcomes
This course continues to develop the four language skills, while also clarifying areas of grammar found still to be problematic for students. It aims to extend students' understanding & use of these items, to raise students’ awareness of contemporary varieties of English, & to increase students' skill & confidence in using spoken English in presentations and discussions.

Emphasis is given to refining writing skills and to the oral presentation. In this semester students complete their overview of the development of English by focusing on contemporary varieties of the language.
