Teaching Methods

The theoretical lessons will be taught using the expository and interrogative methods.

In the operationalization of the practical classes, priority will be given to active methods, using practical exercises, case studies, analysis and discussion of scientific articles. As a complement, it is intended to include lectures with guest speakers within the context of the curricular unit, in order to bring the academic component closer to society. It is intended to organize technical and study visits in a logic of contact with businesses and organizations.

Learning Outcomes

1 - Analyse and understand the theoretical framework inherent the relationship between tourism and transport.

2 - To analyse the historical evolution of transport and its contribution to the development of tourism.

3- To understand the bi univocal development relationship between tourism and the different types of transport: road, rail, sea and air.

4 - To relate means and forms of transport and the development of specific products, understanding their particularities in the logic of the relationship between supply and demand.

5 - To analyse the planning and management of transport in its relationship with the attractiveness and competitiveness of tourist destinations in the present and their future trends.
