Teaching Methods
The lectures will be taught using presentations and interrogative methods.
The functioning of the practical classes will be directed at active methods, using practical exercises, case studies, analysis and discussion of academic papers.
Learning Outcomes
1 - Analyze and understand the underlying relationship between Tourism and Transportation
2 - Analyze the historical evolution of transportation and its contribution to the development of tourism.
3 - Understand the existing two-way relationship between tourism development and the different types of transportation: road, rail, sea and air.
4 - List the means of transportation and the development of specific products, including their characteristics, the relationship between supply and demand and the challenges involving Cruise Tourism and Space Tourism.
5 - Analyze the planning and transportation management in its relation to the attractiveness and competitiveness of tourist destinations in present and future trends.
