Teaching Methods
The Seminar draws on a broad spectrum of methods and pedagogical techniques, early recourse is predominantly oral exposure methods, taking into account the need to transmit a base of information that serve as theoretical introduction and let you clarify the themes and methods of investigation, which will give way to a more active intervention of students through tasks such as review of bibliography, oral presentations and critical analysis of ongoing work, fieldwork reports, organization of scientific events, among others.
Learning Outcomes
The Seminar on Tourism, Territory and Heritage is a curricular unit dedicated to promoting theoretical and applied analysis of new trends in tourism, territory and heritage, and develop empirical and theoretical research skills, including ability to collection, processing, synthesis and presentation of data, as well as structuring and construction skills of scientific texts. The practical application of knowledge in specific case studies have underlying the promotion of intervention capacity and opinionated students spirit class context, through critical assessments of running jobs and of national and international authors texts, as well as participation in other tasks according to the planning of school activities.

In relation to the contents, the first sessions of the seminar are devoted to research methodologies and emerging issues in tourism, territory and heritage. The following sessions are analyzed in detail the main sources of information and methods of research and organization of these references either the specific research themes to be developed in each edition of the seminar, which thus opens the way to empirical investigations and case studies. Schematically, the syllabus can be presented as follows:
1. Main research methodologies in tourism, territory and heritage.
2. Emerging issues for research in tourism, territory and heritage.
3. Main bibliographical sources and research methods and organization of these references.
4. Applied studies (empirical investigations and case studies).
