Learning Outcomes
The general objective of this class is to equip students with the knowledge and skills in Tourism and Planning, to develop a critical and analytical view on the subject.
Specific objectives and skills to be developed:
- Understand the process of development of tourism and its relationship with the territories.
- Understand how tourism is today a key area, on various scales and promotes "regional tourism"
- Understand which major phases of tourist activity matches, as a rule, the consolidation of tourist regions.
- Know the importance of tourism in Portugal and how it fits in the Mediterranean, European and World contexts.
