Teaching Methods
Face-to-face theoretical-practical classes, using theoretical explanation coordinated with critical analysis of texts and/or specific iconography, resulting from appropriate visual or audiovisual teaching material; carrying out works and presentations, individually and/or in groups, by students.
Learning Outcomes
It is intended that the students acquire a set of knowledge and skills related to the archaeological processes that occurred in the Mediterranean basin and in the spaces directly related to it during the Bronze Age and the 1st millennium BC, namely:
- Recognize the Mediterranean basin in its physical dimensions as a diverse unit.
- Analyze the large spatiotemporal and contextual dimensions of the historical processes that occurred in the Mediterranean basin and in the spaces that are directly related to it, especially from the Bronze Age to the Roman domination of the Mediterranean.
- Recognize the archaeological dimension associated with the historical processes in question in different civilizational contexts and their interpenetrations.
- Acquire the ability to research, analyze, use and critically communicate contents and sources.
- Gain critical awareness in terms of identity, linked to the exercise of citizenship.
