Theoretical-practical classes, combining lectures by the teacher with paper presentations by the students and discussion.

Learning Outcomes

The goal of this course is to provide students with the general outlines of the early modern age in Europe. They should be able to identify the major political, economic, social and cultural processes of this period, and thus acquire a critical understanding of the major issues of our times and their historical roots.

This course provides an overview of the early modern age that includes the study of European economic, social, cultural and political history in the 16th, 17th and18th centuries.
