Theoretical-practical classes, combining lectures by the teacher with students’ participation in the analysis and discussion of texts and documents.

Learning Outcomes

To understand the transition from the ancient world to the feudal world and the process of urban growth, the emergence of the middle classes and the organization of work in cities.

To reflect on the changing worldviews, the decline of the feudal world and the emergence of centralized monarchies.

Overall, students should be able to understand how the changes that occurred in the European economy, society, politics and ideas during the Middle Ages led to the Early Modern Age.
