Theoretical and practical classes, including reading and transcription exercises, field trips and contact with original sources of different types and from different periods.

Learning Outcomes

Students are expected to learn about and understand the process of dissemination and the social value of writing throughout the centuries, to be able to understand different kinds of paleographic sources, as well as learn how to read and transcribe them.
