Teaching Methods
Theoretical and practical classes. Grammatical explanation. Exercises on vocabulary. Practice on words and phrases transcriptional Spoken interaction on different situations. Discussion of the main socio-cultural events of the studied periods.
Learning Outcomes
The course is intended for students who wish to increase speaking and writing Russian language proficiency obtained over the course of Russian Language and Culture I . This course will take over the basic patterns of spoken language and grammar contents , while at the same time it broadens the scope of familiar expressions and usual predictable situations corresponding to level A2.1, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR .) Apprenticeship continues to rely on communicative formulas and inflectional paradigms assimilation. It will also still be provided a summarizing chart of the most significant events of Russian socio-cultural space, throughout its history, its main artistic forms.

Current sociocultural aspects of Russian life: literature, theater, cinema, architecture, music, circus, creative unions, and crafts.

Successful course completion supposes the realization of all the proposed activities, the evaluation is expressed in a final grade on a scale of 0-20 points. Minimal pass grade is 10 points. The courses assessment is guided by a set of rules, available in http://www.uc.pt/fluc/cl/regulamentos/fluc/cl/ficheiros/regulamento_aval : 100.0%
