Teaching Methods
Seminar. There will be a specific subject matter selected for each session, in whose discussion students are all supposed to take an active part. After the syllabus has been discussed, students will write an in-depth research paper. The assessment will be carried out on the basis of the research paper and its oral discussion.
Learning Outcomes
- definition of the object of Health Public Law and its connection with other legal and non legal knowledge areas
- mapping Health Constitutional Law by privileging a principlist approach
- understand healthcare service within the overall framework of State functions
- assess patients' rights within the framework of public healthcare establishments
- reflect about the legal mechanisms for holding the State liable for damages resulting from healthcare services in public establishments
