Teaching Methods

During Practice students submit to the examination of the faculty supervisor, to be collectively later shared in session, a Training Plan, the analysis of a case and a scientific article that results from literature and documental research carried out by the trainee under the signed contract system. The debate is made in light of the topics set for the Seminar. 

Learning Outcomes

PRACTICE (7th semester) has a pre-vocational nature and aims to provide students learning in a professional context liable to ensure the improvement and acquisition of a set of reflective attitudes and skills central to a good professional performance, including:

Planning skills and foresight analysis in understanding the social and institutional reality, integrating the strategic dimension of the intervention; analytical-reflective skills on normative frameworks, social policies and operating procedures; construction and use of tools adapted to the dynamic diagnosis and social intervention; appropriateness of technical methods and procedures; oral and written communication skills; entrepreneurship, innovation and autonomy in managing their learning process; recognition and understanding of the ethical dimension of professional conduct; enhancement of research and interpersonal skills in building and conquest of space and professional project.

Syllabus

PRACTICE has 20 weeks of duration. It corresponds to the effective presence in their training 15 weeks (32 h of practice  /each week in organization or community), four weeks are aimed at preparing the final report and one week is devoted to evaluation. The overall workload corresponds to 702 hours: 480 hours for activities within the institution / stage service receiver (4 days per week), 30 hours for supervision in the Faculty, 190 hours of independent study and 2 hours for evaluation. Supervision will be provided under collective Seminar (separated curricular unit). Individual Supervision is present along the internship and it will be provided when solicited by students.
