Teaching Methods
The seminar is the moment of collective teaching where the specification of each experience and learning is done and match the globalization of information. In this context, it made the sharing of information between peers, followed by questioning, analysis and reflection on the contexts and processes of learning and intervention. Will be provided guidance on the requirements of organization, synthesis and precision required for the monographic study design.
Learning Outcomes
Objectives: the acquisition of knowledge of organizational contexts (equipment and structures) and social contexts (actors and social issues), where the social workers develop their professional activity; familiarization with routine procedures in place; training of operational and analytical skills of social work; development of reflexive capacity about the contexts and intervention practices. Skills: To Identify the institutional framework; To understand the legal framework, political, social, economic and cultural measures of social policy and intervention procedures; understanding the complexity of (s) issue (s) to
which the host institution and the Social Worker respond; To recognize appropriated professional routines to the characteristics of subjects and contexts; To specify and reflect on the roles and responsibilities associated with job performance; Developing a prospective attitude regarding the understanding of social issues, and training in data collection.

This teaching unit will develop in operational context, with a duration of 180 hours of institutional stay (12 hours / week) and 2 hours per week in college, on a seminar for 15 weeks. Your organization integrates prior contacts with organizations as well as the establishment of an inter-institutional agreement on the period of observation.
The seminar (collective supervision) will reference the following contents:

Spaces and socio-institutional dynamics
Framing Social Issues
II - Learning and Skills Intervention
Professional Contexts and Methods of Intervention
Professional Contexts: Specifics and Constraints
III - Requirements and characteristics of a monographic study.
