Teaching Methods

The teaching methodologies consider the theory / practice nature of the CU. Thus, the expositive method is used for the information of theoretical and operational content and using new technologies; Active methods for analysis and debate around selected texts and documents; skills training simulations for planning, analysis of projects, making intervention, whenever possible, of social workers with planning and management experience

Learning Outcomes

Objectives: Conceptualize planning as an instrument of development, innovation and social change; Enhancing the role of planning in the methodologies of social intervention; Promote the acquisition of analytical and operational skills in the field of social planning; Train for the design and project management intervention. Skills: To Identify the different design concepts and the strategic importance of planning in contemporary society; Understanding the complexity of the conceptual and operational

planning in the development, innovation and social change process; Explaining the importance of participation and citizenship in social planning; Establishing the relationship between planning, action and evaluation in the process of social intervention;

To Identify the steps and operating procedures for the elaboration, management and evaluation of intervention projects; To Develop an intervention project; To analyze the SWOT aspects of intervention plans/ projects.
