Teaching Methods

The theoretical component includes a lecture’s approach based on audiovisual means and periods for discussion of themes in which activity, participation and collaboration of students is essential. The practical component implies the development of practical work for group reflection on the themes approached in classes by students.

Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit is aimed to develop a set of competences in the field of assessment, including an understanding of different paradigms, methods and fields of educational assessment as well as the onstruction of assessment benchmarks.

 

Students should be able to:

• understand different generations and paradigms of assessment;

• understand components and methods of assessment;

• analyze the different fields of educational assessment;

• construct benchmarks of schools’ assessment.

2.1. The terms of referent, referred, framework and referentialization.
