Recommended Prerequisites

The required knowledge base refers to general cultural notions on the nature of philosophy and education, as well as on their problematicity. It only requires the cultural and vocabular levels assumed by the 12th grade. Specific technical requirements are not set out, since the CU is conceived to methodologically provide access to the proposed problematics.

Teaching Methods

In class, we will articulate the theoretical-practical dimensions regarding the subjects to be addressed, seeking that the developed activities became meaningful and able to encourage participation, discussion and individual reflection, in order to achieve the specified objectives. We will make use of a methodological diversification, although an integrative one, by applying expository and interactive lectures, the reading and analysis (individual/collective) of texts, the presentation and analysis (individual/collective) of films, as well as the debate of issues and guided research on themes.
