Teaching Methods

The classes will be theoretical presentations in close liaison to excerpts of the literary works under consideration. Whenever possible, an interdisciplinary approach will establish the relationship with other arts, allowing an integrated view of the literary phenomenon.

Learning Outcomes

Provide students with basic knowledge and skills required to get to know Portuguese literature major milestones, hoping that at the end of the course students would be able to identify the authors distinctive characteristics and the characteristics of the period evident in their texts.
