Teaching Methods

 

    a) theoretical presentation of the language structures in the program, by using written and oral texts;

    b) metalinguistic reflection;

    c) systematization of the structures learned using application exercises;

    d) understanding / interpretation of written and oral texts;

    e) vocabulary enrichment through texts or exercises.

Learning Outcomes

Grammatical and lexical contents to provide those skills necessary to interact with a degree of fluency (spoken and written) with native speakers producing clear, detailed texts on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue, so that the student is able to:

1 .understand the main points of a linguistically complex speech focusing on familiar matters, since in a clear standard speech, as well as following a long speech using a complex argumentation;

2. interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity with native speakers, being able to communicate degrees of emotion and emphasize what is regarded as important, and also express opinions and developing a clear argument;

3. understand texts on topical issues in which the author presents personal points of view and understand the main point in correspondence related to several areas of interest

4. write detailed and clear texts on various matters related to several interests, developing an argument
