Teaching Methods
The methodologies will follow those recommended for teaching a non-native language:
• reading and exploration of different types of written texts
• exercises to understand / interpret written texts
• analysis of structures for developing students linguistic and pragmatic-communicative skills
• metalinguistic reflection
• theoretical presentation
• Written exercises applying the rules and contents taught.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- communicate in simple and routine expressions aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type: basic personal, daily routines, express wishes and needs, ask for information.
- use elementary expressions and communicate with memorized phrases, groups of a few words and expressions in order to exchange of information about themselves and about other people, about what they do, about places, goods, etc..
- correctly use simple structures, while systematically making elementary mistakes.
- understand short and simple texts on familiar and routine matters of immediate relevance in an everyday language or job-related matters.
- write a series of simple expressions and sentences linked by simple connectors like 'and', 'but' and 'because'.

5. Pronouns: Personal, demonstrative, interrogative, indefinite, clitics, relative
