Teaching Methods

The teaching methodology tries to introduce most of the topics in an interrogative format, allowing the students to participate in their own formation. The lab classes consist on the project, fabrication and characterization of transparent TFTs and ICs.

Learning Outcomes

The objectives of the Transparent Electronics course are to introduce the fundamentals of the materials and processes used for this emerging area. Emphasis will be given to the novel oxide semiconductors as well as to the device and IC fabrication and characterization using these materials, mostly using fully transparent thin-film transistors.

4 – Materials for transparent electronics: dielectrics

5 – Thin-film transistors: operation and fabrication

Assessment Methods

Evaluation
The evaluation is done with a written report regarding the lab classes. Then, this work is presented by the students and discussed in a ppt format: 100.0%
