Teaching Methods

The teaching of this course is based on theoretical and theoretical-practical classes, supported by iconographic elements, analysis of contemporary texts, group work, readings and individual work.

Learning Outcomes

It is intended that the master students understand the changes of "waging war" in the twentieth century, and the changes that have taken place with the globalization of conflicts. We try to follow the evolution of the types of war, from "conventional" to counterinsurgency, especially from the disintegration of colonial empires and the end of the "Cold War".
