Teaching Methods
Work on open sources that focus on current regional conflicts and on the phenomenon of terrorism as a form of asymmetric and low intensity conflict. Preparation of analyzes of these phenomena from open sources. Participation in the collective work of discussion of sources and methods.
Learning Outcomes
To understand the phenomenon of conflicts and threats in today's world. The attention will be directed mainly to the low-intensity conflicts that developed after the system of two blocks, namely the so-called "regional conflicts" of potential expansion to other regions of the world. To study the phenomenon of Jihadism and turmoil in the Islamic World and its impact on Western countries, its links to organized crime and the phenomena of population movements.
