Teaching Methods

Theoretical and practical methods of communication, performance oriented actions, tasks and projects. Practicing oral and written skills using different types of written texts and audiovisual materials.

Learning Outcomes

Students are expected to achieve French basic proficiency. At the end of the course, students should possess enough skills to hold a conversation, either over the phone or in a store, being able to express wishes, giving and asking information or organizing events. They should also be able to write short letters or informal notes and correctly use verbal tenses proposed for this level.

- Oral Skills: Listening and speaking based on current documents from the francophone world.
- Writing Competence: master specialized vocabulary well as basic and complex speech structures
Understanding daily use phrases concerning personal interests.
Communicate over daily activities which require a simple and straightforward dialogue.
Using expressions and recurring phrases to talk about everyday life.
