Teaching Methods
This course unit is structured in 40 hours of autonomous work per week under the supervision of the institution advisor from the Department of Informatics Engineering. The enrolment in this course unit requires a positive final grade (above or equal to 10) in the previous course units. The evaluation at the end of this course unit is based on the final report and a presentation by the student, by a jury nominated by the Scientific Commission from the Department of Informatics Engineering that includes the president, non-supervisor jury member and the supervisor. Evaluation is quantitative in a scale from 0 to 20.
Learning Outcomes
To apply the concepts acquired in previous course units for the development of a computational application. Writing of a final manuscript with the main results obtained during this course unit. Presentation and discussion of the work. General skills that will be acquired at the end of the course are analysis and synthesis ability; organization and planning skills; problem solving and teamwork skills; autonomous learning; adapt to new situations; creativity; focus on quality and sustainable development.
