Recommended Prerequisites

The acquired in the Pre-Graduate Course (MD) or in the Specialty of Stomatology (M).

Teaching Methods

Teaching methods include addition of theoretical explanations the conduct of clinical work by applying the theoretical and practical knowledge. The electronic media and e-learning will also be used.

Learning Outcomes

Learning knowledge of direct restorations of posterior teeth with and without endodontic treatment, the materials to be used, the best reproduction of dental anatomy, individual matrices, pins, characterization polishing finishing and texturing techniques. This course also aimed developing knowledge and understanding about tooth whitening treatments. Students should develop skills in the corresponding clinical treatment of patients.

Posterior teeth direct restorations: restoration of teeth with endodontic treatment; materials to be used; reproduction of dental anatomy; individual matrices; pins; characterization; finishing techniques, polishing and texturing, Internal bleaching techniques.

Clinical practice: patient treatment.
