Recommended Prerequisites

The acquired in the Pre-Graduate Course (MD) or in the Specialty of Stomatology (M).

Teaching Methods

Teaching methods include addition of theoretical explanations the conduct of clinical work by applying the theoretical and practical knowledge. The electronic media and e-learning will also be used. The evaluation will be theoretical performance of a test (70%) and continuing clinical work performed (30%).

Learning Outcomes

Learning knowledge of indirect restorations for anterior and posterior teeth with and without endodontic treatment, the materials, the techniques and the advantages and disadvantages compared to other treatment options. Students should develop skills in the corresponding laboratory and clinical treatment of patients.

Syllabus

Indirect restorations of anterior and posterior teeth: restoration of teeth with and without endodontic treatment, types, indications and techniques of preparation, the materials used in restoration; mechanized systems CAD-CAM; temporization materials and techniques, materials and impression techniques, the laboratory technique.

Laboratory Practice: completion of the restorations.

Clinical practice: patient’s treatment.
