The acquired in the Pre-Graduate Course (MD) or in the Specialty of Stomatology (M).
Teaching Methods
Teaching methods include addition of theoretical explanations the conduct of clinical work by applying the theoretical and practical knowledge. The electronic media and e-learning will also be used. The evaluation will be theoretical performance of a test (70%) and continuing clinical work performed (30%).
Learning Outcomes
Learn to analyses the smile and diagnosis to treatment with periodontal plastic surgery, surgery of anterior teeth with periodontitis and surgery of the gingival margin. Know the surgical techniques to develop practical skills in patients.

Periodontal Plastic Surgery: smile analysis, diagnosis and treatment planning, periodontal plastic surgery, surgical techniques and goals, surgical treatment of the anterior sector with periodontitis, surgical treatment of gingival margin.
Pre-clinical practice: surgical techniques of root, elongation and root coverage (pedicle flaps, tissue grafts, matrices allo / xenogeneic) in ex vivo models in the jaw of a pig. Use of microsurgical instruments.
Clinical Practice: incisions and sutures, enlargement of the clinical crown; surgery in patients.
