Written production
Students can
•write simple sentences and phrases about themselves and people they know;
•ask and give detailed personal written information;
•write a simple postcard or an e-mail;
•write messages and fill in forms.
Reading comprehension
Students can
•understand very simple texts,one sentence at a time,picking up familiar names, words and frequently used expressions alluding to everyday situations and rereading them if necessary;
•get an idea of simple informational material and of short and simple descriptions;
•follow short and simple written directions.
Written Interaction
Students can
•understand simple messages in postcards and e-mails;
•use everyday phrases such as greetings and farewells.
Grammatical accuracy:students show only limited control of a few simple grammatical structures and sentence patterns in a learnt repertoire.
Orthographic control:students are able to copy words and short expressions which are familiar to them.
