Teaching Methods
Taking into account the objectives of the course and the specificity of the skills to be developed by doctoral students, a teaching approach is adopted that favours the exposure of fundamental issues for each theme, using audiovisual media, complemented with discussion in small groups or reflection with the big group.
Each class will be divided into two parts: (1) presentation of a specific theme with students interventions ; (2) organized sessions, moderated by the teacher, with a critical analysis presentation followed by a discussion with the students.
Learning Outcomes
With this course, we intend to make known a new paradigm in the management of organizations that leaves the traditional paradigm of traditional management (based primarily on accounting and financial frameworks that emphasize the costs and accounting of "things" that are easily quantifiable). This new approach highlights the role of knowledge as a critical and strategic resource within organizations, especially concerning its competitiveness, efficiency and effectiveness.
The main goal of this course is to provide students with the knowledge necessary to understand the current state of the art of knowledge management and master some of its key concepts: its origin, the different perspectives of analysis, the various fields of knowledge use and the tools of knowledge management.
