Theoretical analysis made by the teacher - issues and problems for a seminar on Contemporary Economic History; oral presentations made by / the students /, followed by discussion; Discussion of the draft written work and sharing their contents and problems with / colleagues and teacher.

According to this teaching methodology, focus will be continuous assessment, by the way according to the assessment requirements by the 2nd Cycle of studies.

Learning Outcomes

Insert the main contemporary economic phenomena in its historical context  . Sensitize students to "think historically" the economy of the Contemporary period and its social processes. Identify the main steps and processes of formation of the contemporary world economy. Describe and interpret the processes of intensification of inter-regional economic relations in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Identify and discuss the changes in the hierarchy of spaces since the begin of the contemporary world economy.
