Recommended Prerequisites

Students with no formation in dynamic psychopathology are advised to perform successfully one of the following course unit: “Child Psychopathology" or " Special Subjects on Adult Psychopathology".     

Teaching Methods

This course will be accomplished using expository teaching method (used in theoretical classes), active teaching-learning methodologies (used in practical classes) and tutorial follow-up. The active teaching-learning methodologies include "case studies" related with dynamic psychotherapy, didactic videos and the use of role-playing for skills development in these settings.

Periodical evaluation includes one type C work (scoring 30%), related with dynamic psychotherapies (syllabus points 3 and 4), and two type A test (scoring 35% each of the final classification).

1. Achieve and develop the knowledge related with psychodynamic psychopathology as the main comprehensive "tool" for dynamic psychotherapeutic work;

2. Develop the knowledge related with different dynamic psychotherapeutic models

3. Develop the skills related with the appliance and evaluation of dynamic diagnostics in psychodynamic work and guidance;

4. Develop the skills and competencies related with different psychodynamic models, including:

- Insight psychotherapies

- Support dynamic oriented psychotherapies

- Brief dynamic psychotherapies;

- Psychodynamic approaches with hospitalized patients

- Psychodynamic approaches with anxiety, depressed, borderline and drug addicted patients
