Curricular unity State and Political Systems provides a knowledge assemblage retreated from the historical importance of state institutions for social life in societies. In one way, it doubles up on the on the theoretical, or normative, field that historically has developed turning these institutions, promoting its assertion, development and legitimation, and on the other way, over the material or cultural effective conditions of its concrete translation in the life of several people and countries. The general theory of state, and its philosophical and pragmatic foundations, the different modalities of state architecture, as well as the political regimes that they sheltered will constitute the main subjects approached.
