Recommended Prerequisites

The student should have passed or will be attending the subjects that correspond to key dimensions of analysis in a business plan, including Operations Management, Marketing, Strategy and Financial Analysis.

Teaching Methods

Students will be accompanied by a multidisciplinary team of teachers. However, all groups will have a teacher responsible for supervising and monitoring performance throughout the semester.

Learning Outcomes

Overall objectives

The goal is to lead students to understand the characteristics that define an entrepreneur. At the same time, they must discover and develop on themselves the characteristics that could lead them to do things, to undertake, to go further.

Generic competencies

The objective of this course is to provide entrepreneurial competencies such as creativity, innovation, leadership, and teamwork. It also provides other personal skills through the integration of subjects taught in other disciplines of the management program.

Syllabus

Students  will be integrated into groups that will have the responsibility to create a structured business plan in accordance with the following topics:

- From idea to business concept

- Market and competition

- Characterization of the products and services

- Operations and investments

- People

- Legal aspects of business creation

- Financial aspects of business creation

During the semester students will be also exposed to topics related to their business plan, namely innovation, communication, negotiation and evaluation of business risks.
