In the first two sessions the coordinator of the course presents the general structure of a research project and possible models which are accepted based on criteria defined by the doctoral branch itself. He also discusses, in general terms, the topics that are part of the project (definition of the problem / issue, goals to achieve, literature review, work plan, methodologies and timing). Later, students are forwarded to their respective provisional supervisors for detailed discussion of the aforementioned topics as well as assistance in drafting the final document as well as the public presentation.
