Recommended Prerequisites

Practice of music group fitness classes; control of physical execution on the musical structure in group activities / fitness.

Teaching Methods

Teaching sessions of a collective nature, personal guidance sessions tutorial-type, projects, field work, independent study. At the end of the semester students will prepare and submit a aquafitness class, respecting the guidelines provided along the contact sessions.

Learning Outcomes

Development of teaching strategies adapted to aquatic exercises with materials.

Assessment, planning and educational intervention with the level of students' abilities. Safety and Contraindications to the use of materials.

Deepening of scientific knowledge related to the teaching of gymnastics using different materials, and the reasons justifying the practice of your choice.

At the end of the semester the student should be able to teach an aerobics class with different materials and fluctuating drag, performing the movements correctly and in its respect for the musical meter.

You should be able to adjust the intensity of the class to different types of people and interact with the same (on both a technical and motivational) using different types of materials and structures of class, being able to justify and give reasons for your choice.
