Recommended Prerequisites

The knowledge and the technical behavioral and language skills acquired during the master program will be the basis for the preparation of the report on Integration of Research and Practice.

Teaching Methods

Taking into account the objectives and contents of the curricular unit it will be used as a teaching method the tutorial orientation. The follow-up sessions will take place individually, in-person or online, according to the needs and availability. Its frequency is defined at the beginning of the curricular unit with each teacher responsible for it

Learning Outcomes

TThe Report on Integration of Research and Practice aims to:

- articulate knowledge and conceptual skills and intervention in the organizational domain;

- provide formative situations that facilitate the acquisition of reflection and synthesis capacities;

This course unit aims to stimulate the integration between scientific research and professional intervention. It is based on the scientist-practitioner model on which this master's degree is inspired. After completing his internship and completing his dissertation, the student is asked to prepare a work to integrate all the work and knowledge developed during the two years of the master's degree, including all curricular units, winter intensive school, internship and thesis of masters, mirroring the cmpetencias that managed to develop and / or acquire throughout the masters in each discipline / component.

Syllabus

The contents of the curricular unit correspond to the integration of all those who have been taught over the master course, being articulated with the skills acquired / developed during the training program. In the end, it must be prepared a summery work which should consider the following aspects:

c.         Articulation / framing of the activities / projects / initiatives developed during the training program with:

i.          Theories / models / approaches / perspectives considered appropriate and relevant and that were learned throughout the course, reflecting a clear articulation between theory / practice

ii.         Acquired and / or developed skills with reference to the European Diploma of Psychology, in particular the Bartram & Roe (2005) model of skills, for the Psychology of Work and Organizations.
