The knowledge, technical, behavioral and language skills acquired during the master course will provide the basis for the traineeship.

Teaching Methods

Execution of tasks and studies proposed by the internship place, under the supervision and supervision of the Advisor (s); Participation in periodic meetings with the advisor (s) to present and solve problems; discussion and reflection on the work done. Orientation sessions on the emerging issues that the consortium of this master's degree considered relevant to deal with the new challenges of society and the world: sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship and project management, multiculturalism and global thinking, diversity, inclusion and humanization.

Learning Outcomes

Course devoted to the learning of methodological techniques, procedures, and approaches to be used in Work, Organizational, and Personnel psychological interventions. With a total workload of 20 ECTS, it offers knowledge and skills about methods that help the intervention in the different fields of the discipline. Special attention is paid to find organizations of different kind, allowing students to find conditions fostering the development of in situ professional competences. The goal of the practicum is the development of professional competences, within the framework of the European Diploma of Psychology. Following such model, both 20 primary competences (related with the WOP Psychology field), and eight enabling competences (related with the WOP psychologist as a professional) are targeted.

Syllabus

1. Preparation of a draft/project of the internship/defining areas of interest;

2. Integration in the Organization and teamwork;

3. Negotiation and implementation of an Action Plan;

4. Participation in weekly meetings for presentation and problem-solving; discussion and reflection on the work performed;

5. Preparation of a progress report (monthly summaries to send to the supervisor at the College until two days before each monthly meeting);

6. Study and analysis of cases;

7. Execution of tasks and/or conduct studies proposed by the host organisation, under the supervision and monitoring of the supervisor/tutor;

8. Learning and use of methods and techniques for organizational-level intervention;

9. Organization of training oriented actions that contribute to the affirmation of the area in which the trainee is inserted and which are congruent with the choice he made.
