Learning Outcomes

This teaching unit is devoted to the development of research competencies. This type of research training is organised and developed by all partner institutions, with the support of research staff.With the help of an experienced researcher (research tutor), the students will formulate a research problem, retrieve and review the existing literature on the topic, elaborate a research and sampling design, get access to respondents, collect data, and carry on statistical and other analysis. In addition, the students will prepare, with the help of their home and host tutors, a research project as well as a manuscript that reflects the manner in which they responded to the research problem.

The bibliography is defined by the supervisor who is responsible for the research work according to the theme chosen by the student. The student is also encouraged to an active search for relevant and current literature on the topic to develop.
