Teaching Methods

These seminar sessions fundamentally consist of the presentation, by the PhD students, of their thesis project and its development, as well as their doubts. After each one’s presentation, follows a feedback period and joined-up thinking, so as to help the PhD student in the development of his project, in which a couple of teachers and other PhD students that are in the session intervene.

Learning Outcomes

The goal of this seminar is to help in the choice and thesis development project, which the students have to submit in the end of the 1st Year of the PhD course.

Syllabus

Taking into account the goal and the adopted methodology, this curricular unit does not have a fixed syllabus. However, we can indicate that throughout the seminar sessions, developed topics will be approached, like the study draw, population and sample, technical procedures of data collection, data analysis techniques, the writing of a project, and so on.
