Teaching Methods

Teaching will be based on lectures (carried out with and without support of multimedia presenters) complemented with short problem solving sessions to further the understanding of the syllabus major topics. In addition there will be laboratory classes in which the students will have to complete practical assignments dealing mostly with the programming and testing of video processing algorithms.

Learning Outcomes

Provides the students with information and knowledge about the operation of advanced video processing techniques and their application to compression, diffusion, storage, indexing and retrieval of digital video.
