Recommended Prerequisites

Complete frequency of the 1st year of the Master Course on Curatorial Studies.

Teaching Methods

There will be a systematic monitoring by supervisors that will end with the completion of the public presentation and discussion of the dissertation, report of training or developed project.

Learning Outcomes

a) Thesis - consists of an original Dissertation, eminently theoretical, as a result of a critical reflection on a topic agreed between the Master student and his supervisor, among the themes taught in the course or among realities considered relevant for the Curatorial Studies;

b) Project – theoretical/practical project, proposed by the Curatorial Studies board or by any other cultural institution, with the approval of the student’s supervisor, and conducted within the institutional organic. This experience should be poured into a written presentation, assessed in public trial by a jury appointed by the Scientific Council of Colégio das Artes;c) Internship - consists of practical experience, proposed by an institution of reference in the Cultural and/or Curatorial realm, or by the Curatorial Studies board, with the approval of the student’s supervisor, and conducted within the institutional organic. This experience should be poured into a written report, assessed in pub.

A bibliografia será aquela considerada adequada pelo orientador e respectivo orientando ao longo do desenvolvimento da dissertação, estágio ou projecto.

The bibliography will be given by the Seminar Supervisor and adopted by the Master student during the development of his/her thesis, internship or project.
