Learning Outcomes
Make the students aware of the role of transport systems in our society and recognize the key factors for its demand, and to perform an evaluation of networks and individual projects of transport, as well as to know the tools for government intervention in the sector.

2 - Traveler Transportation. Traveler level of service. Urban transportation and the land-use connection. Mobility vs. accessibility. Urban form. Urban public transportation. Intercity traveler transportation: Road, Train, Air.
3 - Freight Transportation / Logistics. Introduction to logistics. Modes and their characteristics. Freight Intermodality.
4 - Themes. Project evaluation and finance. Public policy issues - privatization. Transportation technologies - their role and limitations. Sustainable development. Sustainable transportation. Transportation, regional economic development and safety.
